District Lay Leader’s Greetings

Monrovia District Conference December 1-4, 2011

Rev. Dr. Jerry P. Kulah, District Superintendent, Bro. S. Edward Harmon, Associate District Lay Leader, Officers and members of the Monrovia District Conference, Brothers and Sisters in the household of faith.

I bring you sincere greetings of peace and joy on behalf of my dear Husband, Fth. Ernest C. Roberts, Sr., Bro. S. Edward Harmon, Associate District Lay Leader and family, the entire membership of the Monrovia District Board of Laity in the glorious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I join you in praising the Lord for taking us successfully through another year.

As we celebrate our 161st Annual Session of this great District, under the Theme: “Developing Healthy Congregations through Spiritual Leadership”, with reference text taken from Galatians 5:16-26, let us as United Methodists live as spiritual leaders so that our Congregations will be very healthy through our leadership, so when the time comes, our Lord Jesus Christ will say to us, well done, thy good and faithful servant, because it is no longer we that live but Christ lives in us.

I urge you as Pillars and strongholds of this our dear District to continue the good work you have already started in order for God’s glory to be seen in our individual lives. Once more, I express my fervent felicitation to you my dear Mothers, Fathers, Brothers, Sisters and Children. May the good Lord Almighty richly bless and guide you and your entire family in Jesus’ precious name. Thanks and always be blessed.

Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year 2012.

Yours in his service,

Mth. Pauline N. Roberts
District Lay Leader
